このベスト・アルバムの為に書き下ろした曲
「Virus

ヴァイラス」で幕を開ける。
そして、このアルバム発表時点で新しいメイデンから、
過去の作品へと遡っていく展開に。
そして、特筆すべきはスティーヴ・ハリスの
曲作りの秀逸さに加え、過去に在籍していた
ヴォーカル3人の違いも堪能出来る事だろう。
まず、Disc
1のTrack 01~04のブレイズ・ベイリーの
パワフルな歌唱、
Disc 1のTrack 05~ と、Disc 2のTrack
01~09までの
お馴染みブルース・ディッキンソンによる低域から
高域まで、幅広く難無く歌いこなすほどの
超強力ヴォーカルで、アイアン・メイデンという
バンドをワールド・ワイドに認識させたという意味では
彼による功績が大きかろう！！
最後に個人的には一番思い出としては残ってる
デビュー当時のヴォーカリスト、ポール・ディアノ。
パンクよりのスタイルで荒々しさはあるものの、
デビュー時に衝撃を与えたという意味では、
彼の存在も決して忘れられないものである！
もう、曲の方は私がココでとやかく言う必要も
ないほどで、逆に皆さんのほうが詳しかろうと
思うので割愛させて頂くが、
ホントこのアルバムは買って損のないものだと！
中は豪華な解説も入っておりそれを読むだけでも
勉強になるしね！
